Bourlay Historic Nature Park is a low-key Leesburg stop on the Lake Griffin side of town. It mixes short nature trails, wetland edges, and bits of local history, giving you a place to walk that is wilder and quieter than the downtown lakefront parks.
This is not a destination to cross Florida for, but it clears the bar for travellers already in Leesburg. Bring insect repellent, take your time on the boardwalks and shaded paths, and treat it as a gentle break from driving between the Harris Chain lakes.
