Humiston Beach Park is the simple version of Vero Beach: sand, Atlantic water, palms, and a small park right by Ocean Drive. It is not wild, but it is convenient and pleasant, with restaurants and shops close enough for an easy beach break.
Come early for sunrise or late in the day when the heat drops. For a more nature-focused beach day, pair it with the lagoon and refuge stops north of town.
