Old Town Pocatello is the part of the city to walk rather than drive through. Brick commercial buildings, painted signs, public art, and independent businesses give the district a lived-in feel that the highway strips lack.
It is best as a meal stop or late-afternoon wander. Do not expect a large historic quarter; the appeal is a few compact blocks where Pocatello's railroad-town bones still show.
