Wheeling Historical Museum

The Wheeling Historical Museum, run by the local Historical Society, occupies a small early twentieth-century house off Dundee Road and tells the story of the town from its days as a stagecoach stop on the Milwaukee plank road. Displays cover agriculture, immigration, and the slow shift from rural village to suburban edge.

Hours are limited — typically weekend afternoons in season. Worth half an hour if you happen to be in the area and like a small local history museum.
