Dupree Nature Preserve protects 300 acres along the Kentucky River Palisades, a steep limestone gorge cut by the river. Its trails give access to woodland, river views, and a quieter side of the Bluegrass region.
There are about 5 miles of hiking trails. It works best as an outdoor stop paired with Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill or other sights around Harrodsburg.
