Hopkinsville Commercial Historic District

National Register historic district with 19th-century commercial buildings

The commercial core of Hopkinsville is a National Register Historic District centred on Main Street, with late 19th and early 20th century commercial buildings that reflect the town's tobacco-era prosperity. The L&N Railroad Depot, now a community space, anchors the south end. Grace Episcopal Church, a Gothic Revival building from the 1880s, is the architectural highlight.

It is a pleasant area for a short walk, and the buildings are in better shape than in many small Kentucky towns. Several downtown storefronts house local shops and restaurants.
