Lower Town is Paducah's old residential neighbourhood turned arts district, spreading roughly between Jefferson Street and Park Avenue, from the river toward Ninth Street. Galleries, studios, restored houses, and the Paducah School of Art and Design give the area its character.
It is best treated as a slow wander rather than a checklist. Look for open studios, small exhibitions, and the way the Victorian houses have been pulled into the city's arts revival.
