The River Discovery Center explains Paducah's inland-waterways life: towboats, river commerce, navigation, floods, and the work that still moves along the Ohio and Tennessee rivers. It sits in historic downtown, close to the murals and riverfront.
This is a good second stop after walking the floodwall, especially if you want Paducah to make sense as a river city rather than only an arts town.
