Coast Guard Beach is Eastham's great Atlantic beach and one of the classic stops in Cape Cod National Seashore. The sand is wide, the surf is open, and Nauset Marsh lies behind the old Coast Guard station, giving the place more variety than a simple beach day.
In summer, parking at the beach itself is restricted and most visitors use the shuttle from Little Creek. Outside the busiest season it is easier to reach. Seals are often seen offshore or on nearby sandbars, but keep distance and treat the water with care.
