Barrett Farm, better known through the Colonel James Barrett House, is part of Concord's Revolutionary War landscape. British regulars marched toward this area on April 19, 1775, searching for colonial military supplies before the fighting at the North Bridge.
The house and grounds are most meaningful when seen with Minute Man National Historical Park. Concord has many literary stops, but places like Barrett Farm keep the town's revolutionary story grounded in actual roads, farms, and family houses.
