Plimoth Grist Mill is a working reproduction of the 17th-century mill that once stood on Town Brook. Inside, millstones, water power, and corn grinding give a practical look at the food systems behind Plymouth's early colonial settlement.
It is a good companion to the waterfront and Plimoth Patuxet because it turns the familiar Pilgrim story toward daily work. The mill is small, but the moving water and working machinery make the visit more vivid than another plaque or monument.
