Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum

The Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum tells the story of the Grand Rapids native who became president after Richard Nixon's resignation. Exhibits cover Watergate, the pardon, the Bicentennial years, state gifts, and the unusual path of the only U.S. president never elected as president or vice president.

The museum sits by the Grand River, with the final resting places of Gerald and Betty Ford just north of the building. It is one of Grand Rapids' strongest history stops and pairs well with the nearby public museum downtown.
