Dutch Village is more theme park than historic site, but it belongs to Holland's travel identity. The paths wind past Dutch-style buildings, gardens, shops, a wooden shoe factory, and small museum displays.
It is best for families or visitors who enjoy a light, staged version of the town's heritage. Serious history is better handled at the museum, but Dutch Village adds color to the day.
