Summit Street was once McComb's Black business and entertainment district, with clubs and cafes that drew touring blues, jazz, rhythm and blues, and gospel acts. The Mississippi Blues Trail marker gives you the names and the setting: a once-busy strip on the circuit between Jackson and New Orleans.
