Goldwell Open Air Museum

Outdoor desert sculpture park beside Rhyolite, known for ghostly figures and big empty space.

Goldwell Open Air Museum sits in the desert just outside Rhyolite, where large sculptures look both theatrical and completely at home in the empty landscape. The most famous work is Albert Szukalski's ghostly version of the Last Supper, but the whole site rewards slow looking, especially with the Bullfrog Hills behind it.

The museum is outdoors and generally open for self-guided visits, with no admission fee. Pair it with Rhyolite rather than making a separate trip; together they give Beatty its odd mix of mining history and desert surrealism.
