Marzen House Museum

Local history museum in an 1874 house, with Lovelock Cave and Pershing County exhibits.

Marzen House Museum is small, local, and useful before or after the drive to Lovelock Cave. The 1874 house holds mining and ranching material, domestic objects, Native American artifacts, and displays on the cave finds.

The tone is county history rather than polished state museum. That suits Lovelock: you come for context, a few good objects, and a clearer sense of the Humboldt Sink.
