Ross Park Zoo is a small, wooded zoo on Binghamton's Southside and one of the older continuously operating zoos in the United States. It is not a blockbuster zoo, but the setting is pleasant and the scale suits families or anyone building a relaxed half-day around the Southside.
The Ross Park Carousel is nearby, so the zoo works best as part of a larger loop through the park rather than as a standalone destination.
