Chittenango Falls is a short drive north of Cazenovia and gives the area its most dramatic natural sight. The 67-foot waterfall drops over layered rock shaped by ancient glacial water, and the park trail lets you see it from above and from the footbridge below.
It is an easy stop rather than a wilderness hike. Go after rain for the best flow, and expect the gorge path to be slippery in wet weather.
