The only urban Audubon Center in the country, based in the boathouse on Prospect Park Lake in Brooklyn. Over 200 bird species have been recorded in the park, and guided birdwatching tours run regularly. You can also rent pedal boats or take an electric boat ride on the lake — a nice break from the grind of Manhattan sightseeing.
