Ludlow Street between Houston and Delancey is the main artery of Lower East Side nightlife, lined with bars and small music venues that have been drawing younger crowds since the late 1990s. The bars range from dive bars to cocktail lounges; Pianos (formerly a piano shop) remains one of the most reliable. The neighbourhood is busiest from Thursday through Saturday after 10pm.
