The Louis Armstrong House Museum preserves the modest Corona home where Armstrong lived with his wife Lucille from 1943 until his death in 1971. The rooms, furnishings, artwork, recordings, and memorabilia give a personal view of one of jazz's central figures, far from the Midtown performance venues usually linked with his name.
