Vinegar Hill House sits just east of DUMBO proper, in the small cobblestoned enclave of Vinegar Hill, and has been a candlelit neighbourhood destination since 2008. The wood-burning oven anchors a menu of Italian-leaning American cooking, and the back garden is one of the more peaceful outdoor dining spots in the area. The skillet cornbread is the dish people come back for.
