Kenyon College is Gambier's main reason to exist and its main reason to visit. The campus is open to walkers, with handsome old academic buildings, lawns, sculpture, and a village center folded into the middle of college life.
Start on Middle Path, the broad gravel walk that runs through campus and town. It is simple, but it gives Gambier its rhythm: students, visiting parents, cyclists, and locals all moving along the same line.
