Kidron Auction is where the village feels most like a working farm community. The livestock sale, flea market, and auction traffic bring Amish buggies, trucks, buyers, sellers, and a sense of weekly routine into the centre of town.
Come on the right day or skip it. Without the sale, this is mostly a quiet set of buildings; with it, Kidron makes far more sense.
