Sporthaven Beach, also known as South Jetty Beach, is a working-harbor beach used for surfing, beach walks, and watching fishing boats cross the Chetco River bar. The setting is more rugged than resort-like, with jetty views and Pacific surf.
Come for a short coastal stop near Brookings-Harbor, especially if the surf is active or fishing vessels are moving through the entrance.
