Buffalo Bayou Park is Houston's signature central greenbelt, running along the bayou with downtown's skyline rising above the paths. It is one of the best places in the city for a walk, bike ride, or open-air view of Houston's scale.
The park includes trails, lawns, public art, and Eleanor Tinsley Park, which hosts large outdoor events. Go early or near sunset in hot weather.
