Ballet Lubbock is the city's main classical dance company, with a pre-professional school and a calendar of performances through the year. Its annual Nutcracker, staged with the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra, is the big local draw.
It is most useful to visitors who want an evening performance rather than another museum stop, especially during the winter holiday season.
