Cameron Park

Large wooded city park with Brazos River trails, bluffs, and a zoo.

Cameron Park is the place Waco goes outside. More than 400 acres of trails, bluffs, picnic areas, and riverfront paths sit just north of downtown, with the Brazos and Bosque rivers shaping the terrain.

It is good for a morning run, a short hike, or a break from museums. The adjacent zoo is family-focused, but the park itself is the real draw.
