Dr Pepper Museum

Soda museum in the old bottling plant of Waco's best-known invention.

Dr Pepper was created in Waco in 1885, and the museum occupies the old bottling plant downtown. The exhibits cover the drink's local origin, the wider soft-drink business, and enough advertising history to make even non-soda people linger.

The best part is the old-fashioned soda fountain, where Dr Pepper tastes much closer to a Waco ritual than a supermarket bottle.
