The legislators' coffee shop — directly across State Street from the capitol, roasting its own beans on the premises since 1992. A long counter, a clutch of tables, free wifi, and a steady stream of lobbyists and staffers when the Assembly is in session.
Coffee, scones, soup, sandwiches; nothing surprising, but reliably good. The walls double as a rotating exhibition for Vermont painters and photographers.
