Coupeville Wharf reaches out into Penn Cove from the foot of Front Street. It is the town's simplest pleasure: wooden pilings, boats, gulls, mussel rafts offshore, and a direct view back to the old storefronts along the water.
Use it as your orientation point. From here you can wander Front Street, watch the tide change the cove, or start thinking seriously about lunch built around Penn Cove mussels.
