DeLille Cellars is one of Washington's most celebrated small wineries, known for its Bordeaux-style blends made from Columbia Valley fruit. Founded in 1992, DeLille was among the first Washington wineries to prove that the state could produce world-class red blends on par with the best of Napa or Bordeaux.
The tasting room is located in the Hollywood District in the former Redhook Brewery building, with a more refined atmosphere than many of the Warehouse District operations. Flagship wines like Chaleur Estate and D2 are worth seeking out — they have the structure and aging potential that most Washington reds lack. Reservations are recommended on weekends.
