The Dinosaur Discovery Museum is a compact museum in Kenosha's former post office, a handsome Beaux-Arts building a short walk from the harbour. Its galleries focus on theropod dinosaurs, the carnivorous line that eventually leads toward birds, and the museum works with the Carthage Institute of Paleontology.
It is especially good with children, but the displays are not just filler. The building, the skeletons, and the narrow focus make it an easy, worthwhile stop between the lakefront and downtown.
