Racine Art Museum gives downtown Racine a cultural centre of gravity. The museum shows local artists and travelling exhibitions, with a collection especially strong in contemporary craft.
It pairs well with a harbour walk because the museum is close to Main Street and the lakefront. Check current exhibitions before you go; the draw depends on what is on view.
