The Driftless Cafe, in a small building just off Main Street, is the best-known restaurant in town and the standard-bearer for the area's farm-to-table cooking. The kitchen sources almost everything from farms within fifty miles — beef and pork, vegetables, cheese, eggs — and the menu changes with the seasons. It is the place to eat well in Viroqua and reservations are sensible at the weekend.
