The Masonic Temple Building on the corner of Main Street, completed in 1923 in a stripped-down Classical Revival style, is one of the more imposing buildings on the downtown stretch. Its tall pilasters and prominent cornice make it stand out from the surrounding brick storefronts. The building is on the National Register of Historic Places. The ground floor often houses temporary tenants; the upper floors remain the meeting hall of the local Masonic lodge.
