The Nici Self Historical Museum occupies Centennial's old railroad depot, a fitting home for a town that grew from mining, timber, and mountain transport. It is a small museum, but it gives the settlement a story beyond "gateway to the Snowy Range."
Stop in if it is open when you pass through town. The museum is not the main reason to drive to Centennial, but it rounds out the visit and helps explain why this tiny place exists at the foot of the mountains.
