Lago de Corumbá is the broad reservoir outside town where Caldas Novas opens into boating and fishing country. It is less distinctive than the hot springs, but useful if you want a change from chlorinated pools and resort walls.
Several clubs and excursion operators use the lake, so check conditions locally before making a special trip. It works best as an add-on to a thermal-water stay, not as the main reason to come.
