Bisnau combines two of Formosa's strongest themes: prehistoric rock markings and cerrado water. The archaeological site has low-relief carvings in sandstone, while the nearby waterfall drops through a rough, green landscape.
It is not a manicured museum. Go expecting farm access, simple signage, and a place whose interest is in the landscape as much as the carvings themselves.
