Ponta Verde Beach

Palm-lined urban beach where reefs, low tide, and a small lighthouse shape the view.

Ponta Verde is the more polished stretch of Maceió's urban beachfront, with palms, kiosks, apartment towers, and reef water that turns especially beautiful at low tide. The small lighthouse offshore gives the beach its landmark, and when conditions are right people walk out across the shallow water toward it.

Come early or late in the day, when the light is softer and the promenade is busiest with locals rather than just beachgoers. It is an easy place to swim, stroll, and understand why Maceió has such a strong domestic beach reputation.
