The longest beach in Guarujá, stretching for several kilometres south of Pitangueiras. Enseada is calmer and less packed than the main urban beach, sheltered by the curve of the bay. It is popular with families for exactly those reasons — the water is calmer, the sand is wider, and the kiosk density is lower.
The beachfront has a mix of apartments and older houses. At the far southern end, the beach narrows and the character becomes more local. The Parque Municipal da Enseada, a small green area behind the beach, is a pleasant spot for a walk in the shade.
