Cachoeira do Paraíso is one of the better-known waterfall outings on the forested side of Peruíbe. It sits inland from the Guaraú and Juréia approach, where the beach landscape turns quickly into Atlantic Forest.
Ask locally about access before setting out, especially after rain. The appeal is not a huge drop but the chance to cool off in the forest and see why the protected coast south of town matters.
