Cachoeira da Lua is an outlying waterfall east of São Thomé das Letras, reached by the rougher rural roads that connect the town's scattered swimming spots. The draw is simple: rocks, cold water, and a break from the heat.
It is worth adding if you have transport and want a fuller waterfall day. If time is tight, choose the nearer falls first and keep this for a second outing.
