Pedra da Bruxa is a weathered rock formation near town, named for a profile that locals read as a witch. It is a modest sight on paper, but it fits the São Thomé mood perfectly: half geology, half story.
Come as part of a short walk around the upper part of town. The surrounding rocks and views are as much the attraction as the named formation itself.
