Vértice holds the other half of Torres del Paine. Where Las Torres Patagonia has the east, Vértice runs Refugio and Camping Grey, Paine Grande, Dickson and Camping Los Perros — which means the far side of the W and the whole back half of the O circuit. If you are walking the full circuit you will be a customer of both companies whether you intended to be or not.
The useful thing about them is that they publish their tariffs in full, in pesos and dollars, for the whole season. A bunk at Grey is CLP 36,500 a night; a made-up bed with sheets is CLP 91,500; a patch of ground for a tent is CLP 9,000. Renting a tent, bag and mat rather than flying them in costs about CLP 89,000 per person per night on top. Chilean residents pay a separate, lower rate, and foreigners get the dollar price on showing a passport.
Their office is on Manuel Bulnes in Puerto Natales, a few blocks up from Las Torres' one. Bookings go through their website's live availability, by phone to the Santiago number, or to [email protected]. There is no WhatsApp — the only mentions of the word on their site are a share button and a stylesheet.
