The Ethnographic Museum and library run by Banco de la Republica is one of the best first stops in Leticia. Its exhibits explain cultural differences among Amazon peoples and give basic context for visits to Indigenous communities.
It is not large, but it is calm, central, and useful. Go before booking a community visit or jungle tour, not after.
