A 1940s planned neighbourhood west of downtown, designed by Pedro Nel Gómez on a generous grid of tree-lined avenues, parks, and low residential buildings. Long popular with locals and increasingly with foreign residents who find Poblado too gringo-heavy and too steep. The Primer Parque de Laureles is the social heart — open-air bars, the Estadio metro station nearby, easy walking to the football stadium and the Atanasio Girardot sports complex.
Cheaper than Poblado, flatter, and with a more genuine local feel.
