A branch of the Banco de la República's Museo del Oro network, dedicated to the gold and ceramic work of the pre-Columbian cultures of southern Colombia and northern Ecuador — the Capulí, Piartal, Tuza, and Quillacinga peoples. The collection is small but representative, with delicate disk-shaped nose ornaments and finely modelled funerary ceramics.
Free entry and excellent labelling. Well worth an hour, and a good orientation to the cultural depth of the Nariño region.
