The Church of Nuestra Señora de los Remedios is Rocha's main parish church, standing close to Plaza Independencia. Its clean facade and twin towers give the centre its most recognisable silhouette.
The interior is modest, as you would expect in a provincial city, but the church is worth a look while walking the centre. It pairs naturally with the plaza and Teatro 25 de Mayo, all within a few minutes of each other.
