Bantia Botanical Garden protects a pocket of Sudanian savanna south of Fada N'gourma, with marked trees, paths through different habitats, some birds and small animals, a small museum, and a central rest area.
It is not a manicured city garden. Its value is that it makes the local savanna readable, with plant names and habitats shown in a way a visitor can follow.
